San Diego National Association of Hispanic Nurses
Organized in August 1993
The mission of the SDNAHN is “Working to address the educational and health care needs of the Hispanic community”.
SDNAHN is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization which works to provide Hispanic/Latino(a) and all other nurses with the opportunity to network and address specific health and medical professional issues related to the Hispanic/Latino culture.
Chapter membership is open to all active or retired nurses of any degree level, and currently enrolled nursing students of any degree level. Membership is open to anyone who is interested in seeking educational and leadership opportunities and advocacy from nurse role models.
Membership is also open to nursing and non-nursing associates, such as hospital systems, clinics, health care agencies, nursing schools, pharmacies, community-related businesses, and anyone who is interested in the promotion of health care in the Hispanic and under served communities.
