Volunteers in Medicine, San Diego VIM is a non-profit medical clinic serving low income, uninsured families in SD County. They care for people who
do not qualify for insurance of any kind. They do this by engaging volunteer physicians, nurses and therapists who have a
passion for their mission. For more information or to apply as a volunteer, click on the link below. 1000 Smiles: Cleft Palate Repairs in Ensenada, Mexico 4 weekends a year, a dedicated group of volunteers travel to Ensenada, Mexico in order to provide free dental
and maxillofacial surgeries to indigent individuals in that region. The cost to volunteer is approximately $100 which includes
round trip transportation from Chula Vista, hotel stay & some meals. Medical and non-medical volunteers are welcome.

FreeWheelchairMission.org At our May 2014 meeting,
the members of SDNAHN donated enough money to provide 3 wheelchairs for the August mission to Nicaragua
for the humanitarian group Free Wheelchair Mission. The link below describes the hard work of the group and what our donation
helped provide to a very deserving group of people.
